Meet Us

I’ve been working as a remedial massage therapist for the past 11 years and I simply LOVE what I do… It makes me happy!

Being a Bodyworker, I get to transform a persons day; to make them feel and function better than when they arrived to see me.

I moved to Yamba in 1988, I feel lucky to be able to call this lovely little seaside village my home.

After completing my training in 2003, I was lucky enough to begin working in this very practice, those years have certainly whizzed on by. All these years later I continue to treat & meet a variety of wonderful people, many of whom I now call friends.

I regularly attend workshops and seminars to expand my skill base. Over the years I’ve accumulated a wide range of techniques and modalities that I incorporate into my treatments. As each individual is unique, the style of each treatment varies according to my clients needs. Whether it’s remedial work or simply complete relaxation, my goal is to fulfill that purpose.

A little more about me…
I teach a fun movement class called Nia, I surf,  I’m completely in love with the ocean, I ♥ yoga, Chai, camping, delicious food, sunrises, sunsets, friends, bbq’s, full moons, a great book, a really really  good giggle… one that hurts and makes you cry (he he), traveling,  playing guitar, dancing, painting, rainbows, dolphins, whales, candles, oils, gardening… to name just a few… I have a wonderful hubby, 2 gorgeous children and 3 beautiful chooks!

I’m always happy to discuss or answer any questions you may have so please call.

Maybe I’ll get to meet you soon.

I have been working as a Remedial therapist for the past 10 years.  I am  passionate about massage and the benefits it has on the body.

Within that 10 years I managed a Day Spa for 3 years, in that time I have learned the art of giving a truly relaxing massage.

I have a postgraduate Beauty therapy diploma, working in the late 70’s with Barbara Gre’, one of the first Beauty Therapists to settle in Sydney from Europe.

I have been treating clients from Yamba Natural Therapies for the past 7 years and am now the proud business owner, along with Amanda, of Yamba Remedial Massage Therapy (Our new name).

Owning the business is my dream come true. We are now providing the treatments we have always wanted to offer our clients. I have studied a variety of modalities including Remedial Massage, Thai Massage, Ayurvedic, Warm stone massage,  Relaxation and Pregnancy Massage.

I have also practiced Yoga for 29 years which has given me my foundation and knowledge to understand how to work with the Human Body.

As a Massage Therapist, I have worked in Aged Care with Nursing staff on their pain management program. As a direct result of regular massage, pain relief  medications have been reduced and patients have experienced increased circulation and elevated general well being.

My intention is to work with my client, reducing muscle tension and stress from the body using the modality which meets your needs. I believe liberation from pain and stress is the key to maintaining a healthy and joyful  life.
